This is a 2 day class only available to those who have completed An Introduction to PMC- Precious Metal Clay. 

In this Workshop you will make at least 4 items of jewellery to take home: 2 pairs of earrings, a brooch, and a hollow bead. You will learn more advanced techniques of working with PMC, such as:

 

  • Embedding Sterling silver into PMC
  • Soldering Sterling to PMC
  • Achieving a "mirror" finish
  • Mould making
  • Forming Hollow beads
  • Use of PMC syringe
  • Weaving with PMC sheet

All tools and equipment will be provided.  You will be given enough PMC to use if you work small, however there will be opportunities to purchase more.  You will also have the option to buy a starter kit, so you can continue working with PMC as soon as you get home.
